Religious Fanatics Return to the Society

What cannot happen has happened, religious fanatics themselves lie down their fanaticism.

You know who we are. These are we who have decided at any expense to tell everybody in the World the story about Jesus Christ and call them to repent (to evangelize the world as we ourselves use to say). We may call ourselves Protestants or more specifically Evangelical Christians, as these who try to study Bible and exactly follow it (Christian fundamentalists).

In many countries we have been considered as anti-social elements, discriminated, not allowed to work by managers, not sued by our requests or wrongly sued by judges, beaten by both criminals and police, etc. Not even speaking about third world countries, even in USA and UK we were often in conflict with the state and the society.

An example from Russia: Protestants, excluding Lutherans and possibly Baptists and Mennonites, (especially Pentecosts and Charismats) are more known as the Sect (in English language this would be the Cult) to the mean native inhabitant. The religious conflict is expressed even in the morphology of the language!

In October 2005 I have realized: They were right in this, we are a sect of fanatics. We were not correct.

What has really happened? I have found two misconcepts in our fundamental concepts:

We were thinking that we must speak about Jesus Christ and our faith at every circumstance. So we were falling into conflict with every man except of these rare who are glad to hear anything, and even with these men also as the result of indirect extending a conflict with other men. I have realized that we are not obliged to speak about Jesus Christ in every situation after more careful Bible study.
We were dividing at our own opinion all people to saved and unsaved and despising unsaved (in fact, we were despising all who are not in our sect). Now I realize, instead of despising unsaved as we were used to do we should work for their salvation (It may include raising real economy and education level, defeating alcoholism and drugs, etc. Note that we were doing all these things also before but with despising of these who were attempting to help it was not enough effective.)

The above two are the main direct reasons of the conflict of Evangelical Christians with the rest of people. So in a sense the root of the problem is removed, already.

An unbelievable event has happened. The fanatics ourselves ceased to be such. And this has happened in the most natural for us Evangelical Christians fanatics way, by Bible study and theology lessons by one of our fanatical teachers (me). Radical fanatics themselves put their fanaticism under critics. It is unbelievable but is a fact.

I repeat that what has happened is absolutely natural for the religious fanatics (like I was) from Evangelical Christians (Protestants). These are not at all artificial means of peace which would cause only either our laugh or even more conflict. It is our (fanatics') own teaching, its natural development. It is of our opinion not from soft religion artificially made mild for no conflicts in expense of the truth. It is an opinion of a Christian fundamentalist completely based on Bible. For me truth is on the first place, peace then.

On former stages of our development making even a temporary peace with the world around us was impossible, but on this stage it naturally becomes possible, as we better understand what Bible teaches.

Humor. Finally, am I really radical as I say? I will refer to a view of eyes of an other man instead of my own. I was praying and he came near and asked why the air around me shines. I have replied him, Because I am very radical. Have you ever seen free radicals not in prison?
